About

Dennis Radermacher

After moving to New Zealand, Dennis found a strong creative focus in Christchurch as the city underwent its rebirth. His background in landscape photography heavily informs how he reads and utilises natural light on site, where he collaborates closely with clients to translate the human experience of a space into compelling imagery. His path to architectural photography was a journey of creative reinvention, including chapters as a columnist, educator, and a freelance photographer whose work took him from local backcountry trails to the skies above Antarctica with NASA.

Outside of photography, Dennis carries this creative drive into his personal life, where he enjoys designing, building, and making things in his spare time. An avid tramper, he also continues to find a primary creative outlet in New Zealand’s remote wilderness. See his latest architectural projects here, or follow his adventures on the blog.
